Many of the camp sites in France have excellent facilities and most have magnificent swimming pools or aquaparks that have slides, rapids and staff that run aqua fitness sessions. There are plenty of places to eat on site whether you want to sit in a restaurant or just grab a snack. Each site has a shop so that essentials like bread and milk can be purchased daily.

If you don’t want to have the hassle of taking your own camping equipment with you, some holiday companies offer ready erected tents on site that have comfortable camp beds, full cooking facilities and fridges and freezers inside. Bedding and towels can be hired so that clothing and toiletries are the only things you need to bring. Beach goods can often be bought locally if you want to take advantage of the many glorious beaches France has to offer.
