If you are looking to book a holiday but don’t fancy the idea of staying in a tent but want it to be more homely than a hotel then you may decide to opt for a caravanning holiday.

A caravan holiday can be that ideal compromise between a hotel and a tent holiday. It gives you a closer feeling of camping and enjoying the outdoors than staying in a hotel would but with the added luxuries you often miss when in a tent. IF you decide that you want to go way in a caravan often, you may even choose to buy one and tow it with you. This gives you the freedom of going where and when you like and once you have covered the initial outlay for the caravan, site fees can be relatively cheap.  

If you would rather just go to a caravan that is already set up then you may choose a static caravan. Static caravans tend to be a lot more spacious and have mains water and electricity whereas a touring caravan will need to be located in the right place to allow hook ups. Lots of static caravans have some outside space such as decking to allow you to have a bbq or just sit out with a glass of wine in the evening.
